Live tables after dark

Cascades Casino Chatham has 10 live table games, and all of them run to the 2 AM close. On Friday, Saturday and Sunday, dealing begins at noon. Monday through Thursday, the tables are surely going by 4 PM. Anyone hoping to sit down between 3 and 4 PM on one of those four days should phone 226-296-0309 before setting out. Slots and tables shut together, so no part of the schedule ends earlier.

Blackjack is offered in more than one version, Perfect Pairs and Blazing 7s among them. Beyond blackjack, the featured games are Mississippi Stud, Spanish 21, roulette, Ultimate Texas Hold'em and Mini Baccarat.

Times are Eastern, and the close lands on the next date: Friday night ends at 2 AM on Saturday. Sit down at midnight and two hours remain.

Slots until closing

More than 300 slot machines, both reel and video, cover the gaming floor. They switch on at the 10 AM opening and keep going until 2 AM, seven days a week. The machines and the live tables stop together.

The casino's membership card goes by My Club Rewards, and it earns points on both slot machines and table games. Signing up is free, and the Guest Services desk handles it once valid ID is shown.

What the floor leaves out

Gaming at the casino is limited to slots and table games on its listings, with no high-limit room, keno, bingo, sportsbook or poker room shown. On site there are lottery sales, bank machines and currency exchange. Under Ontario law, an 18-year-old may buy lottery tickets alone, but casino entry is barred to anyone under 19.

Rules once you sit down

  • Staff may ask for your ID at any point, not just at the door, so keep it on you.
  • Phones and other devices stay out of use on the gaming floor for recording, photos and calculations.
  • Food and drink from outside stay outside, but inside Cascades the tea, coffee and fountain pop are complimentary.
  • Anyone self-excluded or trespassed, from this casino or any other Ontario gaming property, may not visit.
