About the guide

Who writes this Cascades Casino guide

This independent Chatham guide follows the later hours at Cascades Casino Chatham, from early evening to the 2 AM close, then the ride home or the hotel room after. It goes out under the After Ten Desk byline, a team of editors and not one named author, and it accepts no wagers.

The desk behind the guide

This guide stands apart from the casino, Gateway and OLG. It accepts no bets and keeps no accounts. Every page is signed by the After Ten Desk rather than by a named author.

Its subject is the stretch from evening to the 2 AM close, and what follows: the drive back, or a night at a hotel. That focus serves visitors from Windsor, Sarnia, London and the towns of Chatham-Kent, along with locals planning a late evening on Richmond Street.

How each fact gets checked

All facts on these pages were verified on October 4, 2026 against the casino's own site at chatham.cascadescasino.ca, as well as ConnexOntario, iGaming Ontario, the AGCO and OLG. Information on Ride CK was taken from the Municipality of Chatham-Kent.

Every distance is a direct line between OpenStreetMap coordinates; real roads are longer, and the After Ten Desk lists no driving times. The distance tool hands you off to Google Maps, which works out both the route and how long it takes.

A few details are never published: holiday hours, opening times at MATCH Eatery & Public House, and the Ride CK stop for the casino. In those cases the After Ten Desk says so plainly and sends readers to 226-296-0309 or to Ride CK. Monday to Thursday, the casino lists two different start times for tables. This guide goes with the later one, by 4 PM, and recommends a call to 226-296-0309 for play from 3 PM to 4 PM.

How these images were made

The front of the building at 615 Richmond Street appears twice in this guide, once at dusk and once at night. After it come the MATCH patio, the bar and the pool table. Each of those scenes began from real photographs of Cascades Casino Chatham and its pub; an image generator gave it a new angle and a new hour. The bus shelter and the bench under a street lamp were invented, with no actual place behind them. No one was photographed at the casino, and the guests shown are made up.

Ads and who pays

Paid links in Chatham Casino sit on its home page alone, each carrying an Ad label. The partner behind them is a private online casino, unnamed here and subject to change. The After Ten Desk gives no guarantee about it, and any online casino is worth checking in the igamingontario.ca directory first. Cascades Casino Chatham, Gateway, OLG and iGaming Ontario have nothing to do with this partner. Links to the casino, OLG, the province and every help service are unpaid.

Calculator and planner entries stay local. Visits are counted, nothing stored in your browser, but a separate counter gets page, referrer, language, screen size, time zone, IP and browser type.

Chatham Casino has no sign-ups, no forms and no ad trackers. Each visit is tallied with no cookie, but a separate analytics service is passed your IP address and browser. Its calculators do their sums inside your browser and transmit nothing. A light or dark setting lasts only as long as the tab you have open, with no copy stored elsewhere.
